The temporary residence permit for the purpose of conducting business activity is intended for foreign nationals who plan to run a company in Poland, serve on the boards of companies or act as procurators. The temporary residence permit for the purpose of conducting business activity is intended for foreign nationals who plan to run a company in Poland or serve in the bodies of companies.

Important

Key information

The application must be filed no later than the last day of legal stay in Poland. The procedure is conducted electronically.

  • Lack of confirmation of submission means the application has not been accepted
  • After filing the application, a personal visit to the office is required
  • During the visit, the data is verified and fingerprints are taken
Additional info: Foreign nationals most often run their business in the form of companies, e.g. sp. z o.o. or joint-stock, although in some cases sole proprietorship is also possible.

How to file the application?

The application is filed electronically through the system. After submitting the application, a personal visit to the office is required to verify the data and take fingerprints.

Conditions

Conditions for obtaining the permit

To obtain the permit, the business activity must meet at least one of the following conditions or demonstrate a real potential to meet them.

Adequate income

The business activity should generate income at the level required by the regulations.

  • At least the equivalent of twelve times the average salary
  • Financial documents confirming the results
  • Consistency of data in the application and attachments

The company may meet the condition by creating jobs in Poland.
